Brief

Design, conduct, and analyse a design-thinking workshop with the goal of learning more about the flight experience + stakeholder alignment

The SIA-NUS Digital Aviation Corporate Laboratory is a research laboratory which aims to leverage on NUS’s multi-disciplinary research expertise to create and commercialise innovative technologies that could accelerate the digital transformation of Singapore’s aviation sector. At its early stage, Work Package 4, which focuses on Passenger Comfort, Sleep and Cabin Service, required more exploration to define its research topics. Thus we would design a workshop with the following objectives and target outcomes:

Objective

Target Outcome

Engage Stakeholders

Collect a 'wishlist' from stakeholders

Identify Key Insights

Have a comprehensive understanding of cabin processes and experiences

Gather interesting concepts to be further explored

Explore Data Collection

Collect a list of possible datasets that can be used in future research

Outcome

2-day Design-Thinking Workshop with SIA flight crew, SIA BU’s, and NUS researchers.
